no, it becomes a problem, just not our problem. it's the middle east's problem to solve.

that is what happened anyway. we went to war with iraq over oil, not the freedom of kuwait. i was simply pointing out that if we are going to be hegemonists or imperialsts, we might as well do it right and let saddam take over the whole gulf before we obliterate him.
