Perhaps we need some sort of sign to let the rest of us know certain posts occur within the contexts of friendships. Interesting you should say this, John. I've thought about this exact same problem. --k Well, it's one thing to say it, yet another to propose some way to do it. I put that sentence in that post simply to acknowledge the dilemma. Now, if uw comes back with a hit on tek, I'll put it in the same category of the stuff you and Frank do with one another. However, the problem remains. The only solution which jumps to mind is to put something in the thread header requesting posters to find some way to handle the problem. I don't expect that will help but it acknowledges the dilemma. Still finding my late evenings on the thread the best source of information around. Particularly with those surprisingly good posts from the LATimes. John
