Since this is the Searle and Tom board, I decided to butt in. Not only do we have the coalition with the "anti'terrorists", but what we are going through economically in order to "save our economy" should get all the republicans incensed! If we were getting ready to spend over $100,000,000,000 (is that enough 0000's)?--the president would really get some grief on capitol hill from the conservatives. Because Bush is a republican, he can get by with this charade. Does not anyone worry about inflation any more? I thought that is what Alan was in vogue for. To save us from the horror of having too much money in the economy---as that would make AU go up!
