Are you still glad you dismissed Hickey?

Anyone invested in semis since your post in May has been slaughtered.

As an investor / trader I have ice blood in my body. I am not moved by short-term downdrafts. Financial markets have always had an upward bias. My perspective tells me that heavy investments in the semis may make one look wrong in the short-run but experience has taught me it will also make me wealthy in the long-run. I am still buying at these prices undeterred. I dismissed Fred then and I am dismissing Fred now primarily because his analysis offers no hard numbers he is willing to back up. Fred like many others likes to make generalizations that are marked to the market in the current moment.

P.S. Federal Reserve action has never NOT failed to work and it will not fail now.

I am confident I am right. While many will dismiss these thoughts they will certainly not remember them when the market turns. My views are consistent and I stand by what I say unlike other posters who have posted on this board (that is not meant in reference to anything you have posted Jay).

I suspect the difference in our thought process is a matter of experience.
