I agree on arming pilots. ElAl does it, but everyone in Israel does their time in the military and they grew up in a war zone handling guns. I also think by the time a pilot needs a gun because someone is in the cockpit, it's to late. We need to prevent them from entering the cockpit at all cost's IMO. Doors need to be fixed, sky marshals, better job of not allowing them on the plane or in our damn country in the first place, and finally the passengers need to be willing to do their part to insure that no lunatic gains entry to the cockpit regardless of the personal cost.

We all, the airlines and us the traveling public, can never again allow an airplane to be taken control of by anyone for any reason.
