OT-Great point! Those who treat Bin Laden as a martyr should be the next targets. Thus, his death creates a kind of marker-gene for other terrorists.

You asked Did Hitler's death make a martyr out of him?

Definitely not. He killed himself, I believe, but I remember a sense of resignation and gratefulness that it was over after Germany capitulated. I was 10 at the time and adults didn't speak their mind in front of children during WWII.
