Yeah, didn't he hold out every year in Buffalo, just to skip training camp?

A lot of times, when a disciplinarian coach follows a weak coach who lost control of the team, the team responds well. That's what I thought might happen with Schottenheimer following Turner. It doesn't appear to be working out that way.

<<< Randy Moss still hasn't caught a touchdown pass this season. Moss remains the biggest "me" player in the league and that was evidenced again last Sunday in the club's victory over Tampa Bay. As the Minnesota offense trotted back onto the field for a "kneel down" play to kill the last 20 seconds on the clock, Moss began removing his equipment and heading for the locker room. On his way into the tunnel that leads to the locker room, he knocked down a local television reporter and never looked back. >>>

Remember what I said about the Jets' new offensive coordinator Paul Hackett?

Billy Ray Smith: "You wonder how long Paul Hackett is going to live off the success of the early 80s with the 49ers. He's destroyed a couple of college programs and a couple of pro teams, and it looks like he's doing the same thing in New York. Wayne Crebet, three catches a game is not going to cut it. The guy has to get more balls thrown to him."

In a police report, the responding officers wrote that they "found Janikowski incoherent and wildly flailing around on the floor. As a result of the uncontrolled flailing, Janikowski hit his head on the floor and caused a cut over his right eye."
