It would be impossible, even for a democrat judge, to jerrymander a state that red into anything but a vastly republican Congressional delegation. At least without a revolution. Kind of shocking that Texas democrats thought it even a possibility.

..Yes, isn't that nice. Long gone are the days of the dragon-prune, Ann Richards. She'll drink to that. btw, I saw that McCain has thrown campaign finance "reform" over the side. He's concerned with new issues he can use to get on television now that serious issues dominate. Where was McCain when the Dems were eviscerating the CIA's effectiveness? He thinks that's a terrible thing. Now. But the Lib press that adored him never cared about that. So neither did he. Anything to get on Chris Matthews. And Matthews is always ready to kiss his ... No wonder few watch Matthews anymore. He gets about half the viewers as FOXNews, the #1 cable news network.
