bcrafty - I have no idea why they are buying this stuff at these prices at this point in time, hence the paranoia that something may be afoot we haven't heard about.

Viisage to deploy system at U.S. airport (VISG)

By Michael Baron

Viisage Technology (VISG) is jumping $1.81, or 29.4 percent, to $7.96, after the Littleton, Mass., firm said it and strategic partner LAU Technologies have been tabbed to install Viisage's FaceFINDER real-time face recognition system at an undisclosed U.S. airport. Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed. The company said the deployment is the first use of face recognition technology for airport security in the U.S. Viisage expects the system to be operational within the next 30 days.
