Approval rating is meaningless. Right now it's a reflection of patriotism, little else. Bush Sr. had the second-highest approval rating ever during Persian Gulf War but got sunk by an economy in "stall." Workers all across the country are getting "squeezed" by businesses seeking to bolster the bottom line at the expense of everything ... well, everything save million-dollar bonuses for fat-cat CEOs.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
