<< So if you can't beat the terrorists you join them? Interesting battle plan. >>

On the contrary. If the present military government of Pakistan is willing to work with us, against terrorism, what would you have the US do? Would you have us declare Pakistan an enemy, instead of a friend, for the problems that Pakistan has had over the last few decades?

The fact that the military government of Pakistan is willing to work with us, and not against us, is great! As a reminder, they are a nuclear power, also.

<< How can you say you are against terrorism when you side with the terrorists? >>

On the contrary, if governments, who have supported terrorism in the past, are willing to be our allies AGAINST terrorism, we only have one choice. Work with these countries, in step 1, against even their battles with terrorism. You have to crawl before you can walk.

The governments in such terrorist countries, such as Afghanistan, who is deeply entrenched in terrorism, must be removed from power and nullified.

There are more problems ahead. It isn't going to be easy. Sound bites are meaningless. There are still significant terrorists in other places, like the PLO, Kasmir, North Korea, etc., that still have to be reckoned with.
