Well, I have a problem with one disturbing aspect of the "coalition building": let's see here, Syria and Iran - known state sponsors of terrorism responsible for murdering Americans - qualify, but Israel does not? I for one truly hope that this public plan is a stratagem and Phase Two of the War on Terrorism will involved kicking Syria out of Lebanon, destroying the Iraqi WMD program once and for all and in the process toppling that government, destabilizing the Islamic fundamentalist power structure in Iran and assisting Khatami in his democratic pursuits (amazing he has avoided arrest thus far, though many of his friends have not, such as the Mayor of Teheran) and thereafter, supplying massive financial and developmental aid through the World Bank and International Monetary Fund for all nations in the region that fulfill anti-terrorist qualifications as formulated by the United Nations Security Council.

As for King Abdullah, what a worthy successor to his father's legacy. I found his speeches moving and exactly what the region needs in times of crisis. I do hope he continues to come forward as he has, and I was very happy to see the United States, for the first time in its history with an Arab state, to immediately drop all trade barriers with Jordan, declaring free trade. Perhaps as a preamble to peace and prosperity, it is time to declare and begin to implement a Middle Eastern Trade Agreement, signed by the European Union and the United States with all countries that prove hostile to terrorism, and open to global commerce and cultural exchange.
