Some "honest to god" straight propaganda at last -g-

The Taliban admits to harbouring Osama bin Laden, who was believed to have been behind the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon.

Strike against Taliban 'to avoid civilian targets'

Planned bomb strikes against the Taliban will reportedly
spare civilian targets.

The strikes will not destroy infrastructure such as power
grids, water supplies or bridges.

The Washington Times says air strikes will be aimed at the
Taliban regime's command and control centres.

The aim is to make the Afghan leaders more vulnerable to
an uprising.

"The 'centre of gravity' is not bridges. It's the Taliban," a
Bush administration official told the newspaper. Centre of
gravity is a military term for an enemy target.

US and British warplanes were also considered likely to
target military assets such as air defence networks, MiG
fighter planes, tanks, and al Qaeda's network of terrorist
training camps.

The US administration hopes its decision to spare civilian
infrastructure will underscore its insistence it has begun a
war on terrorism, not on the Afghan people or Islam.
