As a short term policy it's ok to be friendly with Pakistan but giving Pakistan weapons which they will use against India is not acceptable. If India declares war on Pakistan any day now the world should not be surprised as the U.S. is making Pakistan stronger by giving them even more weapons they can use against India ... like India doesn't have enough problems with Pakistan that they need for the U.S. to complicate matters even more. We don't care if you want to give the Pakistani's all your money ... just don't give them any weapons they can use against us.

I think the powers that be in the U.S. secretly want India to declare war on Pakistan. That would take care of their problem without it costing them anything. Of course if this happens too soon it screws up the U.S.'s chances of catching bin Laden. It's all a setup but everything has to be timed perfectly.

You don't believe that if Pakistan wanted to find Osama and hand him over to the U.S. they could? It was Musharraf that put an end to the search for Osama when he took office. There was a plan in place with Pakistani intelligence and the CIA to get Osama but Musharraf nixed it. Wake up. For all you know Osama could be in Pakistan not in Afghanistan.
