Top brass from American Academia and Industry including IBM, Dell, Intel, etc., [ spec.org ] are working continuously to provide standards in evaluation of computer's performance, and Jonh Fowler, who publicly admitted that he has no clue about what a computer clock is (probably thinking of a sort of a round office wall clock), advises me of irrelevance of SPEC benchmarks. Just to diminish your confusion about general investing, I exercised all my AMD in March 2000, and am 100% cash since (excluding few 401k plans). I tried to be as polite as possible given the glaring discrepancy between over-confidence of your posts and astounding ignorance in the subject thereof.
