The kids in her class finally revolted and turned her in to the local school board. I don't think self-interest can be described as me first. Imagine living in a country where you were forced by legislation to put the needs of people you despise ahead of your own. Forcing via legislation to put other interests ahead of your own is the worst kind of "me first". If I'm altruistic I want see the result of my actions guided by my free will. Legislation of morality and noblesse oblige always back fires.
