Truthful and I do not detect any ridiculous propaganda. ... It is unbias and basically an accurate composition and counters a lot of the nonsense propaganda of the illegal naked short selling. But it does not include the illegal shorting. But does talk about hedging. Now it just dawned on me about the spin. Illegal shorts scream big boys are the sinners but most of the time they hedge against their position. Whereas, hedging is merely a trade or bet to reduce the risk of a wager by making a trade or bet against the side or chance one has bet or traded on. hedge An investment made in order to reduce the risk of adverse price movements in a security, by taking an offsetting position in a related security, such as an option or a short sale. hedged tender The short sale of some portion of the shares in a tender offer to protect against the risk of loss in the event that all tendered shares are not accepted. see also tender. hedge fund A fund, usually used by wealthy individuals and institutions, which is allowed to use aggressive strategies that are unavailable to mutual funds, including selling short, leverage, program trading, swaps, arbitrage, and derivatives. Since they are restricted by law to less than 100 investors, the minimum investment is typically $1 million. The general partner usually receives performance-based compensation. hedge wrapper An options strategy in which a trader with a long position in the underlying stock buys an out-of-the-money put option and sells an out-of-the-money call option. No where is a hedge naked. ONly thing wrong with legal hedgin and shorting is the rightful owner does not get in on the deal. Yet they surfer the consequences of the loan. Oh well ... Legal is not the problem ... its the naked shorting. P2bAAAT & DSAS
