communism is an evil idea. I'm no communist (heheh. SI... think about it...) but I'd disagree. Communism, itself, is quite a noble idea... it's aesthetically pleasing... there's just the slight drawback that it doesn't actually work. For various reasons. (As for the manifestations of so-called communism in the real world, well. their near-universal poverty, corruption and oppression - the sheer vileness - speaks for them.) Whereas capitalism, of course, requires the 'exploitation' of at least one party in every trade, each party presumably feeling that the other is the one being exploited <g> However it does have the overwhelming advantage of actually fitting with the human urge to self-improvement and advantage, and so it works. <vbg> <edit> Remembering the thread title that's probably the most on-topic post I'll ever get!
