Stockbroker Disbarred For Securities Fraud

Published Oct 5 2001

The Minnesota Supreme Court disbarred Martin Fiterman of
Minnetonka on Thursday for his role in a $7 million securities
fraud.

Fiterman, a broker with Protective Group Securities in
Minneapolis, previously pleaded guilty in federal court to
charges of aiding and abetting insider trading involving a
California company called Keystone Energy Services Inc.

The charges against Fiterman said he and his firm earned more
than $400,000 in commissions from fraudulent Keystone stock
transactions.

The firm was not charged but is no longer in business.
