I got the same solicitation. Apparently, he doesn't sell many subscriptions as most people can't get in quickly enough to profit from the run up. He probably makes more money by pumping and dumping and I'm sure that he is in violation of SEC rules, unless he is a registered brokerage in which case he is just using standard operating procedures.

What a coincidence, BS stock also had BS news same time as the tout. Correct way to play those isn't to try to get in on the run, it's to sell them cuz you know the dump is coming, and you have a whole new set of bagholders. No more guarenteed money on the planet than shorting turd BB's into the pump, why else would the promoters do it. And for anyone that didn't get the email it's EYPSF.

Another scam, though more elaborate, goes like this: The guy mails out 10000 letters to random people saying "my charts say that VomiTek is going up next week, I'm giving you this tip for free to introduce you to my service". (This might apply in your case.) At the same time, he mails out 10000 letters saying "my charts say that VomiTek is going down...". At the end of the week he takes the mailing list for the "correct predictions", splits it in half, picks another stock, sends 5000 "going up" and 5000 "going down" messages. Continue three or four more times, then you put the hard sell on the remaining 500 people for a thousand bucks for your "proven prediction service that has been right six times in a row!"
