I don't see what the US has to gain from saying something untrue about the plane crash. The Georgians said their missles couldn't reach that plane which they would have a motive to lie about on two counts. There has been enough public debate on chemical and bio terror that I don't see the benefit in covering an incident there unless they are hot on a trail and don't want the perps to know.

Is anyone skeptical about US government/World description of Russian plane crash and anthrax case in Florida.

Mike, Maybe it's time for a vacation. Isn't it also possible that everything isn't just a conspiracy?

Seems as if the "second" Anthrax case was a hoax. I haven't seen a name of the patient, a name of the hospital or doctor making the determination, or, even the city in Florida where that alleged patient may be. Seems no one else has that type of info neither.

Anthrax isn't unheard of. It's generally contracted from infected wild animals especially by hunters while they're cleaning or skinning them. And it is treatable. Not only do you get rid of the Anthrax but also any urinary tract infections that you may also have. ;^) sort of a 2 for 1 special.

Re the Russian Plane crash. I would suspect that US spy satellites, etc. would be closely monitoring any missile training exercises, especially in that part of the world. I further believe that there's probably a variety of intelligence including radar traces that would support the US government's description of the event. We'll probably never see that evidence; nor are we likely to know precisely which individual fired the missile nor what was in his mind at the time it was fired.

All the same, I'm somewhat more inclined to believe it was an accident, not a conspiracy or terrorist event.

FWIW,
Ian.
