The story was posted to show how ridiculous stupid people like you are to expect that the US should, in security matters, rely on treaties with countries that have a history of violating treaties and even worse, to expect that terrorists would respect them. Kind of hard to believe that some guys would hijack several airplanes and deliberately crash them into the World Trade Center or the Pentagon, killing themselves in the process. Anyone who conceived of such a risk, and urged enhanced airport security on that basis, might be called a Chicken Little or a moron, before the fact..........

Of course, on a trans-Arctic launch maybe only Canada would be wiped out. What a pleasant thought for Saturday tea! I'm sure his colleagues would be delighted, too.
