I don't think Hitler tried that hard. There was supposed to have been a final solution Cabinet meeting with Heyderich, who was Jewish himself. We have all sorts of supposed quotes that were manufactured by British Intelligence propaganda but it is highly unlikely they would ever have said things out loud or allowed themselves to be quoted or recorded. Having said that I admit that Geobbels and the HI admin (Hitlers Intellectuals) of Germany did allow large scale suppression of Jews in Germany for many years so many of them left. Sort of like the english left Quebec. There were about 6 million Jews in greater Europe and about 5 million in the Pale of Russia. About 8 million survived the war and the camps in Germany and Poland. 1.4 million died of Typhus in the camps, and 1,000,000 of other natural causes accelerated by malnutrition in the six years of internment. This leaves 600,000 killed in war in Russia, and Germany by various means. We accept that Jews were unfairly harassed. We accept that they were treated badly. They were no doubt murdered at the slightest excuse by a vicious police state, under the guise of "protecting their culture." (liebensraum, -- Quebec take note). But they survived the war in the millions, while 26 million Russians where murdered by the German Army. It hardly compares. For every Jew killed there were at least 40 Russians butchered in war or as civilians. EC<:-}
