Vested interests are desperate for a bottom. We talk about shorts being scared. There are a whole lot more people long this market, and if they actually saw the potential for a major downturn in stock prices from here, they would be far more worried than a handful of shorts are now. We had a bear market rally and almost overnight complacency is back in style.
