i've learned the market is about mass psychology and not about an expression of rational viewpoints. iow, pure, unadulterated insanity. i'm waiting for said insanity to get extremely depressive so i can buy equities based off a great risk / reward from an analytical standpoint. i don't see it yet.

i miss a lot of opportunities... the mint money and lose it all back...

i do have to say my biggest concern is market risk. even undervalued stocks tend to get swept down as the big boy market gets the excesses wrung out.

msft at a 35 pe when it has declining eps? micron loses $$$ at a $2 billion annual rate and trades at $10 billion market cap (was $20 billion 3-4 weeks ago!)?

all in all, i'm kind of glad i don't *understand* the market b/c i'd be looney enough to star in a saturday cartoon! -ng-
