Profiling which leads to more efficient investigations is justified IMO. Profiling which leads to inappropriate actions is not.

Stopping a 6'5" man and investigating him because a robbery was committed by a "tall man" is fully appropriate. Beating all 6'5" men in a community because of the robbery is not.

Not I, so long as the profiling is rational. I've always thought of that media stuff as PC pandering.

What do people mean by "profiling"?? Are they talking about assessing people??
