Monica, it looks like Jerry Sanders finally realizes the result of the Golden Rule of Competition. "Lower your prices as you would have others do unto you".

"AMD didn't blame the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks or a weak economy. Instead, it blamed Intel. "Intel resorted to aggressive pricing and large, cash-backed marketing programs, which had the effect of driving down ASPs (average selling prices) on PC processors," said CEO W.J. Sanders."

Apparently, Jerry doesn't know how capitalism works. But he does seem to follow another popular rule.

"If you are too incompetent to run your business, blame the larger competitor."
