Note to self: As of this moment all of the "good news" -- government spending binge, feeling of massive overwhelming military response to hunt down one guy who cannot even use his cell phone or cash a check, lower short-term rates, liquidity up the whazoo and a good shit-kicking of the shorts -- all of that has now been priced into the market. Prognosis -- this little bear market rally is over to be replaced by a slow, painful realization that none of this matters and we are going to descend into a very difficult economic mess and face the prospects for hit and run strikes that will be hard to anticipate or prevent.
