That is also very difficult area to survive..especially through winter...You see No Kebab Stands in close proximity <g> And YYou can't rely on consistent Fed Ex delivery from Urumchi...

It is also my understanding the area is famous for the Magnificiant Ski Slopes, just no 5-star Hotels, no room-service and no Lifts...Did you try to ski there? <g>
