I'm not so sure. At the mid quarter update, Intel said July and August were stronger than expected. The tendency is to think that the 9/11 tragedy has pulled down PC sales enough to offset these months. I believe consumer sales are down, but I think that all the news concerning Dell and Compaq filling many business orders during those weeks might be able to offset the fall in consumer spending. It's my guess, but I still think Q3 will have higher volumes than Q2.

Petz or thread, do you know if the markets will be open on Monday since its Columbus Day? In addition, trading was fairly light today.....was there another Jewish holiday?
