It is terrible to say, but obvious to everyone here, that without the attack shaking our Fed and government out of their "gradualist" mode, we could well have faced an economic crisis well in excess of what anyone but the most negative bear would have imagined. Finally, nearly every possible stimilus option is being explored. And it is bound to work. What the fall out is on inflation in 2-3 years, we will have to wait and see.
