"The demand if from OEMs not from people who would consider buying this crap."

Yah know, it is almost funny how every time Intel makes a major price cut, and now introduces new chipsets, that manufacturers fall all over it as the thing that will bring life to P4 sales. And every time is proves to be a false alarm...

Kap, Re: "The demand is from OEMs not from people who would consider buying this crap. I hope you understand the difference."

Last time I checked, OEMs eventually end up selling their products to people willing to buy it. Just ask Dell. They are still gaining market share, and 1/3 of their featured desktop models are Pentium 4 with SDRAM.

Kap,

I get it. You understand demand better than the OEM's.

You may be right, they may be wrong. But they have slight experience advantage.
