Hi Paul. COTs are important. Look at the record. cairns.net.au OTOH, am not claiming it's the only, or even the most important element in gold price fluctuations. Just that it IS one of the important tools, and therefore must be watched. The continuing very low lease rates were also emphasized in my previous post as important. So let's not focus only on the COTs or any other single tool. I never do that. Also, although I'm a bull with large long positions, it's important to keep an eye on all the evidence. Isopatch
