I agree that his reference to Niehbur is was good.

There are some people for whom proximity is inversely proportional to vehemence of dislike. They fixate on the mote in their country's eye and disregard the log in the eyes of others. For them, the grass is always dead on their side of the fence. Of course, you won't find any of them crossing the fence to live there! The people who are most vhement about protesting the evils of the US are often the same people who are most vehement about exercising the liberties that those "evils" have provided for them.

But in the present situation, I think some of the "peace" protestors have the same basic poke-people-in-the-eye-at-the-most-sensitive-time-or-place mentality as the Nazi Party marchers in Skokie had.

It's not always right to exercise a right.
