No technology is not done, but each step of the way has its own problems. Another problem with technology is that it is being developed so fast, that last years model is obsolete. People only have so much money to spend and when everyone buys the next big thing, only so many can afford to update to the next item. Most have to make do with what they have and skip a few generations of technology. Can't do it all at once.
