Hi Scott, I had an idea...

How about creating a program members would download, which would interact with you while on SI, or anytime you're online. We could call it the "TechStock Monkey" or something. This little guy would pop up on your computer, and be optionally set up to tell you when messages popped up on threads, or whether you had email. It might even do other things like play games, tell you jokes, inform you when the price of a stock moves, when any news articles pop up on a particular company, or when the company begins its conference call and so forth.

Ideally, it would also be voice activated and be able to type posts for you as you speak.

Ok, a bit pie in the sky perhaps. But I really believe one day, in the not too distant future, this kind of interactivity will be common place on the net.
