Nope, sorry, wrong goldbug. I'm not the gloom and doom type at all. Been there, done that pre-Y2K. Still have the gold, but kicked loose the gloom and doom part. Gold is money to me. Hard, at my fingertips money to me. I buy low from other miners, sell it higher to consumers and fabricators. I pay gas bills, oil bills, food bills, car repair bills, etc, all with physical. I don't hide gold in my matress nor do I bury it. That's not really convenient in either of those two places as you pointed out and I agree.

Neither is it convenient to have to be connected to a satellite connection of POTS or DSL or whatever palmpilots may operate on in the future. Your problem is the silly notion that physical gold is safer anywhere but with the owner, a concept I just don't believe nor think any true thinker buys into either. You can fool some of the people some of the time...
