Zeev(a couple random thoughts to wake up my brain this early morn) when you formulate your projections is it pure TA and you factor out all events? I say that because i see mid-October to the end of October a lot of numbers coming that WILL be showing the economic effect of 9/11--i can not see how those numbers can avoid being ugly(but then if Mutual Funds want to buy,they buy,regardless).
This rally,thus far seems to be one of defiance rather than reason,imo.
I have a reason for not believing the market is always right the way it has been in the past historically.
And that is the wild explosion of Mutual Funds changed this.
But we have had even more recently a wild explosion in Hedge Funds(over a trillion dollars in assets last i checked and pro-active,and not buy stocks only,restricted)
And this is causing a disharmony.
I have seen threads popping up screaming that Hedge Funds be outlawed as they are ruining the party.
They want them outlawed.Won't happen,shouldn't happen.
But,nonetheless,i do see the Hedge Fund explosion altering market chemistry.Max p.s. this post could become greatly expanded,but now i am awake and ready to start my day.
You all have a good weekend,yah hear:)

Zeev;

This is an interesting time when the best technicians I follow (and you are one of them) are split. You project a continuation of the rally after some backing and filling while people like Carl Swenlin of Decisison Point and Barclay Leib of Sandspring Advisors are looking for a retest of the lows before a sustainable rally can begin.
