Thanks CJ. That was quite a read. Looks like our White House is following a savvy course.

Taliban, Osama, ISI 'one body, one soul': Northern Alliance

United News of India

New Delhi, October 6: The Northern Alliance in Afghanistan has blamed Pakistan for sustaining terrorist networks in Afghanistan. Naming the Pakistan government, its military establishment and the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) as the lifeline of these networks, ambassador of the Northern Alliance in London Ahmed Wali Masood said, "Without their support this could not have happened."

In an interview with Doordarshan, Masood outlined the links between ISI, Taliban and Osama bin Laden, stating, "They are one body, one soul and one vision."

He said the West was aware of the links between the ISI and terrorist networks in Afghanistan. The ambassador said madrasas in Pakistan are a breeding ground for terrorists, who then cross over to Afghanistan. All the madrasas run by Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Mualana Samiul Haq and others are producing and training terrorists. The Pakistan military provide military training to them.

He claimed that thousands of Arabs and Pakistanis are in Afghanistan with Pakistan providing arms, ammunition and training to terrorists. "There is much arms, fuel, ammunition and food also coming from there (Pakistan)," he added.

Well I certainly hope he is given a seat at the conference table next to Colin and Condoleezza,
as he has first-hand knowledge that NONE of our leaders have, no matter what they've read and who they've been briefed by.
And as we all know some of them have little Foreign Policy experience <g>

I also agree fully with his suggestions.

I sure hope own government listens before we have to see live video of an American soldier having his throat slit live on CNN.
