Wanna: I have a serious question. I do not want it interpreted as being snide.

Do you think this is an admission of a paper launch in 2002, with a suggested slip to 2003?

Sure sounds like it. There was one earlier indication of this - I don't remember the exact wording, but Hector or Jerry said something which sounded a heck of a lot more like late 2002 than "2H 2002".

"We will start making our 0.13-micron processors next quarter," he said.

Does this mean no .13u until 2002?

I'm a bit surprised this is getting tossed about again. AMD have been quite clear regarding their bulk .13&#181 process: Production starts 4Q01 with volume shipments in 1Q01.

Both Hector and Jerry have said this for well over a quarter and I've seen no indication of a speed-up or a slip-up.
