Victor: I agree. I also don't see anybody hiring now, and this is at a time when we have half a million people per week saying they have been fired or laid off. BTW, the people who work in the plants of the auto makers might be the best off of those affected. I have not heard much about their contracts lately, but unless things have changed, their unions negotiated deal that would bankrupt most companies -- nearly full pay for several years if they are laid off. This is one reason not to buy auto stocks. They lay people off because there are fewer cars to make, but they still have to pay them. I am not sure if people realize that when they buy auto stocks at this point in the business cycle.
