Gold,

You are very correct that LVLT was wildly overvalued at the peak of its hype. If I was interested at that time I would have supported some of your arguments about the company stock. But I still believe you are ringing the death knell way too prematurely on this company, its assets, business strategy, finances, back up options etc...

All Telecom stocks are in panic meltdown mode because there's simply a disasterous environment (as you said predictable - good call by you) out there that will kill many of them - but not all.

Problem is, it is extremely difficult to separate the winners from losers for even the most informed investors. So investors toss them all out at any price.

I personally do not view the current stock price movements to extremely depressed levels as a vindication or refutation of any of my opinions (and I have opinions in both directions). the answers are in the future and LVLT will most likely be here for at least 2 more years. Between now and then we will find out who had the right assets, business plan, backup finances etc.. We don't learn anything from panicked investors. I still think you are wrong on LVLT.
