Have No Doubt it will be striped of the 'original' packaging> these traders(that travel with their own troops)have no love for the Taliban. ======================================= I spent seven years covering conflicts in the Middle East and I can assure you that in the open air markets, the merchants are openly selling UN and UNWRA food aid clearly marked as such and "Not For Sale" Funny how these Christian hostages were suddenly taken shortly before the Sept. 11 attack. Does it indicate that the Taliban knew what was coming and wanted some bargaining chips or human shields in their posession? Paul

indications building that attack is imminent---it has been announced NYC will go into a LOCKDOWN at time of attack--lockdown to be more extensive than that was done on 9/11---does this mean tunnels/bridges/subways/trains/airports to be closed???? sounds rather drastic.This report of lockdown i just saw on MSNBC ticker and have NO confirmation of this--i am skeptical. One report indicates a prime target would be to take a major airfield in Taliban control after first hitting their anti-aircraft defensives.Max p.s. troops in Uzek. are said not to be invasion troops but to be search and rescue forces.
