However, can you seriously look at the statistics and disagree with my statement that more than 95% of terrorist acts in the world are committed by Moslem/Arab fundamentalists ? Is it wrong of the general public then, to associate the word terrorist with the Arab/Moslem world. Don't get me wrong. I have lived there for 10 years. I see people are the same as here, more or less. Its the people who control the masses, the mouthpieces for those people who are the ones that portray the majority in that light. I believe it should be their own battle...but the masses are not really literate and enlightened enough to desire any change. A lot of that has to do with their newfound wealth. They're still like kids in a toyshop, enjoying the luxuries their petrodollars can buy, gazing admirably at the solid 22 ct gold faucets in their bathrooms, their expensive toilet bowlcleaners made of swiss crystals with gold handles (I'm not kidding !). Did you know their weather forecast records do not go back to more than 30 years...? They have no records or any history to fall back on.... No one has the time to think of what should be. No one wants to think. No one wants to upset the applecart. The rulers in Saudi Arabia and other rich arab countries prefer their people remain illierate. They give them a lot of funding in the form of Zakat, give them houses, food etc, so the people have no incentive to get educated. Which suits the rulers pretty well. They can continue ruling them, they can continue being their mouthpieces, continue funding the terrorist organisations and no one would complain. If the public did get educated, well,, someone would figure out right from wrong, wouldn't they ? The whole system is flawed.
