Hi Ceedee,

Your in with PPX-v @$.21 for 47,619 shares.

Chart for Poplar Resources Limited:

stockcharts.com[l,a]djclnimy[dc][pc20!b50!b100!b200][vc60][iLl14!Lh14,3!La12,26,9]

From the chart for PPX we can see the stock bounced off of support of it's 200MA twice last week and is now trading at
@$.21 it's 100MA. The chart indicators are all pointing down but it does appear to be in oversold territory so a bounce up to it's 20EMA @$.25 should be expected short term. This stock will need continued good volume to have any further upside.

Good luck with this pick Ceedee.

Regards,
Al

Ceedee, news out on your pick PPX-v:

Poplar Resources expects Bottenbacken results soon

Tue 9 Oct 2001

News Release

Mr. W. Gennen McDowall reports

Poplar Resources has completed boreholes BB-3, BB-4 and BB-5 at the
company's 100-per-cent-owned Bottenbacken polymetallic project, which has
palladium, copper and gold credits.
Samples from BB-1 are currently being assayed at Acme Laboratories in
Vancouver. Results are expected shortly. Samples from BB-2 are en route to
Vancouver. Delays in receiving results are due to transportation
difficulties arising from current world events.
Drill hole BB-3 and BB-4 have been drilled on the Storuggen North zone
induced polarization (IP) anomaly. This anomaly is located on the northern
side of the Lillan river. Borehole BB-3 was drilled to a depth of 83.65
metres before the hole was abandoned due to collapse. BB-4 was drilled 250
metres to the east of BB-3 to a depth of 166.65 metres. Drill core from
both holes consist of massive, dark, medium-grained metapyroxenite with
minor quartz and epidote veins. Weak chalcopyrite or chalcopyrite+pyrite
mineralization occurs along veins and shear zones. Chalcopyrite also occurs
within the metapyroxenite as small individual grains.
Drill hole BB-5 was drilled into the Storuggen South zone IP anomaly. The
Storuggen South zone is adjacent to the Bell zone. The Storuggen South
anomaly is separated from the northern anomaly by the Lillan river and the
Lillan fault. The northern zone is underlain by a large gravity high
feature, whereas the Storuggen South zone is located on the flank of this
feature and now appears to be a distinct body.
Drill hole BB-5 was drilled to a depth of 167.35 metres. The hole was
drilled in a westerly direction at a dip of 45 degrees. Overburden
thickness was 8.2 metres. Drill-core cut through a diabase dike from 8.2 to
15 metres after which it entered massive, dark medium-grained
metapyroxenite. From 15 to 45 metres there occurs quartz and epidote
veining with some shearing. This part of the core is mineralized with
chalcopyrite, bornite and some pyrite. A narrow zone of particular interest
was observed from 41.90 to 42.50 metres. From 45 metres to the end of the
hole massive metapyroxenite alternates with sheared metapyroxenite and
quartz and epidote veins. Shear zones and veins are mineralized with
chalcopyrite, pyrite and possibly bornite.
The drill rig has moved to the Finuggen zone and drilling of BB-6 will
commence there shortly.
Prospecting in the area southwest of the Scapa zone has revealed a new
mineralized boulder field. Large boulders composed of metavolcanics were
found and appear to be identical to those boulders observed in the Bell
zone. Further groundwork is being carried out to identify the source of
these boulders. Samples have been sent to Acme Labs for analysis.
The location of all of the above holes and the exploration zones will be
posted on Poplar's Web site: www.poplarresources.com.
