Yes, and thats not so bad either...provided we call apples apples and do not cover the reality with sweetness and pretend to be on a higher moral ground....

BWDIK about politics and diplomacy ?

Just that it always fires back !!!

I remember BEFORE the US came to Kuwaits aid, BEFORE the troops were deployed, Kuwaiti royality was made to understand that conditions for help were that rebuilding of Kuwait would be done by the US. At least 75% of the contracts would be given to US companies. And that Kuwait and Saudi were to buy their defence arsenal from US, at least most of it anyway. They had no choice but to agree ! And they did pay for all those junk patriotic missiles. UAD 10 million for each missile if I remember correctly, which translates to about 3 million USD. They were full of bugs too, rarely hit their targets, so it was like paying big time, to buy crap.

Guess why Kuwaiti's believe that Kuwait was deliberately allowed to be totally destroyed ?

It was an army on hire. Period. But now US expects them to be grateful. They don't feel very grateful, coz they feel they paid for the services.
