That goes to show you ... you should NEVER negotiate with terrorists ... killing them is the only way to be free of them. Those hijackers held over 150 Indians hostage for 8 days inside an airplane in Afghanistan. This revelation will really hurt Pakistan's cause to defend Kashmir terrorists as being freedom fighters instead of terrorists. This same guy that was released due to the hijacking was also behind the recent Kashmir massacre. If you negotiate with terrorists the only thing you guarantee is more terror.

The hijackers wanted 36 prisoners released as well as $360 million from the Indian government. They released 3 prisoners only after great pressure from the Indian populaton because they couldn't stand the torment of what the hijackers would do to the hostages. How horrible to think that they saved 150 people only to lose 6000 more.

I think the thing we should fear most now is a hostage situation. That will be very painful for us to have to watch innocent people suffer and know that we cannot negotiate with the terrorists in order to save more people in the future.

Lola:)

If we would just execute terrorists, we wouldn't need to worry about them being released from prison.

Paul

PS: In general, I am against capital punishment but in the case of terrorists, I make an exception.
