Yahoo options reporting: Yes, there is something dramatically wrong with the Yahoo options reporting. I sold 6 CMNT (computer network technology corp) calls Jan 12 1/2 for 1.55 on the 2nd, have them confirmed and the money in the bank and that trade still (at least yesterday) does not show on Yahoo. I have other similar examples. Oh, the symbol for that whole call is QDOAV.

I have been simply trying not to use Yahoo recently despite their convenience, but really wonder when I can begin to trust their quotes again. Has anyone checked with them to see what the problem is and when it may be resolved?

Or, is it something strange with Waterhouse? I doubt that, but the transaction happened and I'm not even sure it showed up on the CBOE site--wish there were enough time to check that again before my edit time expired, but I did check Yahoo, and sure enough, they still show an old trade on this call at 1.20. I did have time and find that CBOE is not showing my trade as there has been a more recent trade and with the stock price up it was at $2.55. Yet they show a smaller number of outstanding contracts (66) compared to 70 at Yahoo. I guess that means that someone bought back some calls which are not yet reflected on Yahoo either. Lots to learn yet. Lance
