Even the Dalai Lama - modern man that he is - ate buffalo while in Denver.

"When in Rome, do as the Romans do."

So, when in Denver, do as the folks there do, too!

A Jewish reporter once sat with Chou En Lai (a late Deputy Premier of Red China) at a dinner table one day sometime during the Long March (1939-1945) period. He would not eat any of the roast pork that was served. Chou told him, "This is China, not where you have to observe certain rules. You have to eat to survive regardless whether the food is kosher or not ...." Whereupon the reporter wolfed down the pork with gusto!

Yea! that reporter exemplified "When in China, do as the Chinese do!" rather well. <ggg>

<<Why don't we all admit a greatest problem in today's world is the
Fundamental Extremist of every religion - locked in Yesterday - which is the
problem, be it Christian, Hindu, Jew, Moslem, or Buddhist - or even
environmental extremist or right wing anti-government type (as these are
much like an extremist religion)?>>

Amen,amen, amen.

John

Buddhist?? I don't think it belongs on the list of extremists. Also it's not a religion. It's a "Way", a way of living.
