There are perhaps two dozen 'international' styled hospitals spread throughout Thailand, with the majority based in and around Bangkok. Average day rates based on insurance data, shows that - room/food and nurse costs Can$75-100 per day. - intensive care room/food costs, including nurse, is $150-200 per day. Hate to put it this way, but these hospitals have standards of care and service which are higher than what I have ever seen in Canada - and ok , my hospital experiences in both countries are, fortunately, limited. I have enquired about the WF drug. It is difficult to get any information, as I was unable to connect with a HIV specialist. Any AIDS articles in the english newspapers which I found do not mention WF-10. However, since Thailand is a high profile AIDS case, in terms both of infection levels and of its successes in fighting the spread of the disease, it does seem a pity that somebody at OXO/DMX does not consider it worthwhile to fund a small study here. Hope this is of some help. Also, as far as EU markets, I am surprised to see that Ireland has not been one of the early bird approvers of Pennsaids, especially since Provalis should have be pushing some contacts they must have, as distributors there. I will try to check out where the Irish approval is at, unless some one else has already checked? Is anybody on this thread going to the AGM? This is a critical juncture for the company, and I cannot seem to get it out of my head that we are using what is essentially borrowed money to crank up for a North Americican release. Actually, as I write that, something does not click. We are warming up our marketing, packaging and so on, for the Canadian launch. But did Rebecca not say 'North American launch"? Why would the company be spending expensive money (aka cheap shares), when a major marketing USA partner would be capable of throwing 5-10 million at a (USA) launch? Still long, but not willing to buy at $4. Fox.
